Whispers of peace between the government and the Taliban as inter-Afghan talks began, sparked a glimmer of hope in the minds of the Afghan people; however, this hope did seem too good to be true when it shattered by the Taliban’s belligerent voice and repeated attacks in the provinces, targeting civilians. The car bomb attack in front of Department of Women’s Affairs and the Department of Martyrs and Disabled Affairs of Ghor Province killed 13 people and injured 119 of our compatriots. This is the ultimate cruelty against every martyr Afghan who shed their blood every day under different pretexts. Killing innocent people has no religious or human justification.
Afghanistan Civil Society Forum – organization (ACSFo) while sharing grief with the families of the victims of the accident, wants to firmly pursue on the punishment of the perpetrators of this incident through the channel of justice and law. In addition, it urges the parties to the war in the country to listen to the voice of the innocent people and truly follow the religion of Islam, which orders to stop war and bloodshed.
